Therd: Why hello there young man!….you look sick, are you alright? .n.

Well, I’ve been better, that’s for sure. *shrugs half-heartedly* Been dukin’ it out with lung cancer for almost a year now and I’m recovering now, but it’s still a long road to go before I’m healthy and home again.

Raymond: huh….sorry t’hear that.

Therd: Well, I’m sure you’ll get even better soon! The name’s Therd by the way. :) This is my eldest brother Raymond, and the second eldest is Thred who is outside for now.

Nice to meet’cha guys. *extends a hand*

Therd: *shakes his hand* :D

Raymond: so, what brings you here?

I just had to get outta there for a spell. I can’t take much more of that place, man…

Therd: I feel ya…hospitals just make others sicker…

Raymond: Well then, would you like anything? Tea maybe..?

Just a bed so I can rest in and feel like I’m at least in a home environment, please…

""but that book character has blue/grey/light eyes so obviously they’re white!!"" ://///

Yes, goddamnit(Reminder that light eyes and blonde hair can be caused by conditions, such as Waardenburg Syndrome and albinism, but they are still real people that can (and should) be represented in media and such)And also I can add that I have news for y’all, people can be black and naturally blondeAnd literally people from ANY KIND can be a redheadand have freackles and suchSo please, stop pretending only white people can have those characteristics, jfc, it’s sofucking annoying.

Just to add on - While race is a very, very, very significant issue, race as we know it is a social construct. When you acknowledge that all people on earth have veeeery little genetic variation in the scope of things, it’s much easier to break oneself from the training of “only white people have this, only black people have that, only asian people have this trait, etc”

Fun fact I learned in my US History class: an ordinary house fly has about 10x the genetic variation from another house fly (even though they look the same to us) while a human only has about 3x the genetic variation of another human (even though we can look completely different).

Meow meow!
As much as I wish for every kitty to have a loving home, that’s simply not realistic! These TNR kitties help to prevent countless homeless and unwanted kittens whose lives would only go to waste.
You can learn more about TNR and caring for your local strays by visiting Alley Cat Allies, the organization which began the program!

This comic brought to you by a dreads-wearing black person.

Here’s a flowchart to determine if you’re wrongfully stealing a hairstyle!

Did you remove the hair that is now on your head from someone else’s head without their consent? No? You’re fine. Yes? You’re seriously fucked up.

bit of interesting history about dreadlocks and Europe (source)  ”Regardless of their origin, dreadlocks have been worn by nearly every culture at some point in time or another. Roman accounts stated that the Celts wore their hair ‘like snakes’. The Germanic tribes and Vikings were also known to wear their hair in dreadlocks.”

Dreadlocks are gross tbh.
